- Lobster tails - 2 (approximately 300g total)
- Unsalted butter - 60g
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise to expose the meat. Remove any intestinal veins if present.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).
- Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another minute and remove from heat.
- Place the lobster tails on a baking tray, and generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the exposed meat.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
- Remove the lobster from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
