- Chicken breast - 300 grams, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Butter - 50 grams
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, black pepper, and salt. Add the chicken pieces and marinate for 15 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter. Sprinkle cornstarch over the chicken and mix well to thicken the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add chopped green onions just before serving.
