- Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- Bell peppers (red and green) - 1 medium each, sliced
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil, then add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet, add the sesame oil, and toss everything together for another minute.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
