Ingredients

  • Beef flank steak - 300 grams, thinly sliced
  • Garlic - 6 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce (Kosher) - 3 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce (Kosher) - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Broccoli florets - 150 grams
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced red bell pepper and broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet, add the chopped green onions, and drizzle with sesame oil. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
