Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Snow peas - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 inch, minced
  • Red chili pepper - 1, sliced (adjust to taste)
  • Gluten-free soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of gluten-free soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic, ginger, and sliced chili pepper, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the bell pepper and snow peas to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until just tender.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet, and pour in the remaining gluten-free soy sauce and rice vinegar. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Drizzle sesame oil over the dish, mix well, and stir-fry for another minute. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.
