- Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Snow peas - 100 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch, minced
- Red chili pepper - 1, sliced (adjust to taste)
- Gluten-free soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of gluten-free soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic, ginger, and sliced chili pepper, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the bell pepper and snow peas to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until just tender.
- Return the beef to the skillet, and pour in the remaining gluten-free soy sauce and rice vinegar. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the dish, mix well, and stir-fry for another minute. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.
