Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 500 grams
- Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 60 ml
- Honey - 30 grams
- Rice vinegar - 15 ml
- Five-spice powder - 5 grams
- Garlic cloves, minced - 3 cloves
- Ginger, grated - 10 grams
- Sesame oil - 10 ml
- Black pepper - 2 grams
- Green onions, chopped - 2 stalks for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, mix together the gluten-free soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, five-spice powder, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the pork ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the ribs. Ensure they are well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
- Grill the ribs for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with the leftover marinade every 10 minutes, until the ribs are cooked through and have a nice char.
- Once done, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
- Slice the ribs between the bones, arrange them on a serving plate, and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
