  • Vegetable oil - for frying

Steps

  1. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into thin slices, about 0.5 cm thick.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  3. Toss the sweet potato slices in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot (about 180°C or 350°F).
