- Raw shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 200 grams
- Coconut flour - 50 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Coconut oil (for frying) - 200 ml
Steps
- In a food processor, combine the raw shrimp, coconut flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Process until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Transfer the shrimp mixture to a bowl and add the egg. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Heat the coconut oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).
- Using a spoon, drop small amounts of the shrimp mixture into the hot oil, forming small chips.
- Fry the chips for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve the fried shrimp chips warm, with a dipping sauce of your choice if desired.
