- Firm tofu - 400 grams

- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Burger buns - 2
- Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon

- Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable oil - for frying
Steps
- Press the firm tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then crumble it into a bowl.
- Add soy sauce, five-spice powder, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, sesame oil, and chopped green onions to the crumbled tofu. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into two patties and refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up.
- In a small bowl, mix the julienned cucumber and carrot with rice vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to create the slaw. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the tofu patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Toast the burger buns lightly in the same skillet for a minute until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the tofu patty on each bun and topping with the cucumber slaw.
