- Agave syrup - 10 grams
- Sesame oil - 10 ml
- Five-spice powder - 5 grams

- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Vegetable oil - for grilling
Steps
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, agave syrup, sesame oil, five-spice powder, minced garlic, and minced ginger to create a marinade.
- Cut the seitan into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
- Remove the seitan from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until nicely charred.
- While grilling, chop the green onions and set aside.
- Once cooked, remove the seitan from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
