Ingredients

  • Almonds - 50 grams
  • Cashews - 50 grams
  • Pecans - 50 grams
  • Peanuts - 50 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Chinese five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almonds, cashews, pecans, and peanuts.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Chinese five-spice powder, brown sugar, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the spice mixture over the nuts and mix well to coat all the nuts evenly.
  5. Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
