Ingredients
- Ground chicken - 400 grams
- Chinese five spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Butter lettuce leaves - 8 large
- Sliced cucumber - 100 grams
- Sliced radishes - 50 grams
- Sriracha sauce - to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, Chinese five spice powder, garlic powder, ginger powder, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil if needed.
- Cook the chicken patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by rinsing the butter lettuce leaves and patting them dry.
- To assemble, place a chicken patty in the center of each lettuce leaf, top with sliced cucumber and radishes, and drizzle with Sriracha sauce to taste.
