- Onion - 1 small, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons, low sodium
- Chinese five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Spring onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- In a bowl, marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce, five-spice powder, minced garlic, and grated ginger for about 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

- Return the cooked beef to the pan with the vegetables, drizzle with sesame oil, and toss everything together for an additional 1-2 minutes.
