  • White fish fillets (such as cod) - 200 grams
  • Firm tofu - 150 grams
  • Fish stock - 500 ml
  • Water - 200 ml
  • Ginger - 10 grams, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Shiitake mushrooms - 50 grams, sliced
  • Soy sauce (gluten-free) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat a pot over medium heat and add the sesame oil.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced ginger to the pot, sautéing until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the fish stock and water, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  4. Add the shiitake mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes until tender.
