- Sea salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Rinse the fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Cut the fish fillets into thin strips, approximately 1 cm wide.
- In a bowl, combine sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, ginger powder, coconut aminos, and sesame oil to create a marinade.
- Add the fish strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your dehydrator or oven to 60°C (140°F).
- Place the marinated fish strips on the dehydrator trays or a lined baking sheet in a single layer.
- Dehydrate the fish strips for about 2 hours, or until they are fully dried and have a firm texture. If using an oven, keep the door slightly ajar to allow moisture to escape.
- Once dried, let the fish strips cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
