Ingredients

  • Wheat noodles - 150 grams
  • Chicken breast (halal) - 100 grams, diced
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
  • Bell pepper - 50 grams, sliced
  • Spring onions - 2, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Boil a pot of water and cook the wheat noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add diced chicken breast to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper to the pan, stirring for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Push the chicken and vegetables to one side of the pan and crack the egg into the other side, scrambling it until fully cooked.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then remove from heat and stir in chopped spring onions before serving.
