Ingredients
- Wheat noodles - 150 grams
- Chicken breast (halal) - 100 grams, diced
- Egg - 1 large
- Carrot - 50 grams, julienned
- Bell pepper - 50 grams, sliced
- Spring onions - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Boil a pot of water and cook the wheat noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and rinse under cold water.
- In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add diced chicken breast to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper to the pan, stirring for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Push the chicken and vegetables to one side of the pan and crack the egg into the other side, scrambling it until fully cooked.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan and pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then remove from heat and stir in chopped spring onions before serving.
