Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Firm tofu - 150 grams, cubed
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Carrots - 1 medium, grated
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Cilantro - a handful, chopped
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add cubed tofu to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in diced red bell pepper, grated carrot, and chopped green onion. Add soy sauce and cook for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Spread the tofu and vegetable mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top, followed by chopped cilantro and black sesame seeds.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
