Ingredients

  • Cooked jasmine rice - 1 cup
  • Firm tofu - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Carrot - 1 medium, diced
  • Green peas - 1/2 cup
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced carrot and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. Stir in the crumbled tofu and cook for another 3-4 minutes, allowing it to brown slightly.
  5. Add the green peas and cooked rice, mixing well to combine all ingredients.
  6. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring continuously for about 5 minutes until heated through.
  7. Add sliced green onions, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
