- Firm tofu - 100 grams, crumbled
- Carrot - 1 medium, diced
- Green peas - 1/2 cup
- Green onion - 2 stalks, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the diced carrot and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
- Stir in the crumbled tofu and cook for another 3-4 minutes, allowing it to brown slightly.
- Add the green peas and cooked rice, mixing well to combine all ingredients.
- Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring continuously for about 5 minutes until heated through.
- Add sliced green onions, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
