- Lamb shoulder, thinly sliced - 250 grams
- Egg noodles - 200 grams
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
- Spring onions, chopped - 2 stalks
- Soy sauce (Halal) - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 1 liter
Steps
- In a bowl, marinate the lamb slices with soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, ground coriander, cumin seeds, red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper for at least 15 minutes.
- Boil the egg noodles in a pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated lamb and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the lamb, along with sesame oil and chopped spring onions. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional spring onions if desired.
