Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder, thinly sliced - 250 grams
  • Egg noodles - 200 grams
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
  • Spring onions, chopped - 2 stalks
  • Soy sauce (Halal) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Water - 1 liter

Steps

  1. In a bowl, marinate the lamb slices with soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, ground coriander, cumin seeds, red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Boil the egg noodles in a pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated lamb and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the lamb, along with sesame oil and chopped spring onions. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with additional spring onions if desired.
