- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, sliced
- Onion - 1 medium, sliced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, cumin powder, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add minced garlic, ginger, onion, bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss everything together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
