  • Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
  • Cumin powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Carrot - 1 medium, sliced
  • Onion - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, cumin powder, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add minced garlic, ginger, onion, bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss everything together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
