- Spring onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Wooden skewers - 4 pieces (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 2 cm cubes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ground ginger, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a separate bowl, toss the marinated tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Thread the tofu cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy, turning halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
