Ingredients
- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Wonton wrappers - 10 pieces
- Carrot, grated - 50 grams
- Bell pepper, finely chopped - 50 grams
- Green onion, chopped - 30 grams
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Drain the tofu and press it to remove excess moisture, then crumble it into a bowl.
- Add grated carrot, chopped bell pepper, green onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, black pepper, and salt to the bowl with the crumbled tofu. Mix well until combined.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place about 1 tablespoon of the tofu mixture in the center of each wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wonton wrappers with a little water, then fold them over to create a triangle or a pouch shape, sealing the edges tightly.
- Brush a baking sheet with olive oil and place the tofu puffs on the sheet. Lightly brush the tops with more olive oil to help them crisp up during baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
