- Cornstarch - 50 grams
- All-purpose flour - 30 grams
- Nutritional yeast - 20 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon

- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, all-purpose flour, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, combine soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Dip each tofu cube into the soy sauce mixture, then coat it with the dry flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- Fry the tofu nuggets in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the nuggets and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
