- Firm tofu - 200 grams
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon

- Ground ginger - 1 teaspoon

- Vegetable oil - 100 ml (for frying)
- Burger buns - 2 units
- Cucumber slices - 50 grams
- Carrot (shredded) - 30 grams
- Fresh cilantro - 10 grams
- Chili garlic sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1 cm thick slices.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, ground ginger, and black pepper.
- Coat each tofu slice with the cornstarch mixture, ensuring an even layer on all sides.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the tofu slices.
- Fry the tofu for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- While the tofu is frying, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on a separate pan if desired.
- Spread mayonnaise and chili garlic sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a crispy tofu slice on each bun, then top with cucumber slices, shredded carrot, and fresh cilantro.
- Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
