  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey or maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions (sliced) - for garnish

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Toss the tofu cubes in this mixture until fully coated.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the tofu cubes in a single layer and fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy.
