- Cornstarch - 50 grams

- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2 (sliced for garnish)
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into thin slices, about 0.5 cm thick.
- In a bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the sweet potato slices in batches, frying until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper to create the glaze.
- In the same pan, pour out excess oil, leaving about 1 tablespoon. Add the garlic-soy glaze and let it simmer for 1 minute.
- Add the fried sweet potato slices to the pan, tossing gently to coat them in the glaze.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
