- Duck breast - 2 pieces (about 300g total)
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Broccoli - 200g, cut into florets
- Spinach - 100g, washed
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Score the skin of the duck breasts in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the duck breast skin-side down. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden. Drain excess fat as needed.
- Flip the duck breasts and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Roast for 12-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 65°C (150°F). Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sliced bell pepper and broccoli florets to the skillet, stirring frequently for about 5 minutes until tender.
- Add the spinach and soy sauce, cooking until the spinach wilts, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice the duck breasts and serve over the sautéed greens. Garnish with chopped green onions.
