- Canned chickpeas - 400 grams, drained and rinsed
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Five-spice powder - 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, sliced for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the drained chickpeas, cornstarch, vegetable oil, garlic powder, five-spice powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
