  • Cornstarch - 10 grams (for sauce thickening)
  • Green onions - 2 stalks (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and ground ginger. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and egg until smooth. Dip each piece of chicken into the batter, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the battered chicken pieces in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
