  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Cornstarch - 3 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large, beaten
  • Vegetable oil - for frying

  • Spring onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.
  2. Dip the coated chicken pieces into the beaten egg, ensuring they are fully covered.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the chicken pieces in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
