- Cooking oil - 250 ml (for frying)
- Corn tortillas - 4
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped

Steps
- In a bowl, combine diced chicken breast with garlic powder, five-spice powder, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Prepare a breading station: Place cornstarch in one plate, the beaten egg in another, and mix all-purpose flour with a pinch of salt in a third plate.
- Coat each piece of marinated chicken first in cornstarch, then dip in the beaten egg, and finally coat with the flour mixture.
- In a deep pan, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken pieces in batches and fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
