Ingredients

  • Glutinous rice flour - 200 grams
  • Water - 150 milliliters
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Spring onions - 2, finely chopped
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, water, vegetable oil, minced garlic, finely chopped spring onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Grease a baking dish (approximately 20cm x 20cm) with a little vegetable oil, then pour the batter into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top of the batter.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before cutting into squares or rectangles.
