- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Fresh coriander leaves - 30 grams
- Soy sauce - 30 ml
- Sesame oil - 15 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices.
- In a blender, combine fresh coriander leaves, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, lime juice, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
- Marinate the tofu slices in the coriander sauce for at least 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to penetrate.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with oil.
- Grill the marinated tofu slices for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they develop nice grill marks and are heated through.
- Serve the grilled tofu garnished with additional fresh coriander and lime wedges.
