Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 30 grams
  • Soy sauce - 30 ml
  • Sesame oil - 15 ml
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices.
  2. In a blender, combine fresh coriander leaves, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, lime juice, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. Marinate the tofu slices in the coriander sauce for at least 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to penetrate.
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with oil.
  5. Grill the marinated tofu slices for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they develop nice grill marks and are heated through.
  6. Serve the grilled tofu garnished with additional fresh coriander and lime wedges.
