Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Fresh coriander (cilantro) - 30 grams, chopped
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them sit for 5-10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the marinated tofu cubes to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
  6. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  7. Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the chopped coriander.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
