- Soft tofu - 200 grams
- Ripe tomatoes - 2 medium (about 300 grams total)
- Cucumber - 1 small (about 100 grams)
- Green onions - 2 stalks
- Fresh cilantro - 10 grams
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Drain the soft tofu and wrap it in a clean kitchen towel to remove excess moisture for about 10 minutes.
- While the tofu is draining, wash the tomatoes and cucumber. Dice the tomatoes and slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
- Chop the green onions and cilantro finely.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and a pinch of salt to create the dressing.
- Once the tofu has drained, cut it into cubes and place it in a serving bowl.
- Add the diced tomatoes, cucumber slices, chopped green onions, and cilantro to the bowl with the tofu.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and gently toss to combine all the ingredients without breaking the tofu.
- Sprinkle the black sesame seeds on top for garnish and serve immediately.
