  • Chinese cabbage - 100 grams, chopped
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Chicken or vegetable broth - 500 ml
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Water - 1 liter

Steps

  1. In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced ginger and garlic to the boiling water, and let it simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  3. Add the chicken broth and soy sauce to the pot, stirring to combine.
  4. Introduce the sliced chicken breast to the pot and cook for about 5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  5. Add the mushrooms and Chinese cabbage, simmering for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Drizzle sesame oil into the soup and season with salt and pepper to taste.
