Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Warm water - 120 ml
  • Active dry yeast - 5 grams
  • Salt - 3 grams
  • Olive oil - 15 ml
  • Fresh cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
  • Lime juice - 15 ml
  • Lime zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Sliced bell peppers - 50 grams
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and olive oil. Once the yeast mixture is ready, add it to the flour mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. After the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface to a thickness of about 0.5 cm.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough to the prepared baking sheet and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  7. Spread the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, then top with sliced bell peppers, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and lime zest.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are lightly golden.
