- Active dry yeast - 5 grams
- Salt - 3 grams
- Olive oil - 15 ml
- Fresh cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
- Lime juice - 15 ml
- Lime zest - 1 teaspoon
- Sliced bell peppers - 50 grams
- Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
Steps
- In a small bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and olive oil. Once the yeast mixture is ready, add it to the flour mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms, about 5-7 minutes.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- After the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface to a thickness of about 0.5 cm.
- Transfer the rolled dough to the prepared baking sheet and brush it lightly with olive oil.
- Spread the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, then top with sliced bell peppers, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and lime zest.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are lightly golden.
