Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken thighs - 300 grams
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Wooden skewers - 4 pieces, soaked in water

Steps

  1. Cut the boneless chicken thighs into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine vegetable oil, ground cumin, ground coriander, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and sesame oil to create a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  6. Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
  7. Remove the skewers from the grill and garnish with fresh chopped cilantro before serving.
