- Pork shoulder - 300 grams, cubed
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Shaoxing wine - 1 tablespoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Skewers (wooden or metal) - 4
Steps
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and vegetable oil to create a marinade.
- Add the cubed pork shoulder to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
