- Ground lamb - 250 grams
- Ground pork - 250 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
- Sliced cucumbers - 100 grams
- Sliced radishes - 50 grams
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground pork, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped green onions, chopped cilantro, cumin, coriander, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush with sesame oil.
- Grill the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- To assemble the burgers, place a grilled patty in the center of a lettuce leaf, top with sliced cucumbers and radishes, and wrap the lettuce around the filling.
- Serve immediately with extra cilantro and a drizzle of sesame oil if desired.
