  • Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 50 grams, sliced
  • Ginger - 10 grams, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Water - 500 ml
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Green onions - 2, chopped for garnish

Steps

  1. In a pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil.
  2. Add the dried chrysanthemum flowers and let them steep for about 5 minutes, then strain and set aside the infused water.
  3. In the same pot, add a little oil and sauté the ginger and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the diced chicken breast and cook until no longer pink.
  5. Stir in the sliced carrots and mushrooms, and sauté for another 5 minutes.
  6. Pour in the chrysanthemum-infused water and bring the mixture to a simmer.
