- Chow Mein Noodles - 200 grams
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Bell Pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Green Onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Mozzarella Cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Sesame Seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black Pepper - to taste
- Chili Flakes - to taste
Steps
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.
- In a large non-stick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell pepper and julienned carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the skillet, along with soy sauce, and mix well to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through. Season with salt, black pepper, and chili flakes to taste.
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Transfer the noodle mixture to a greased pizza stone or baking tray, pressing it down firmly to form a crust shape.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the noodle crust. Then, drizzle with the remaining vegetable oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the noodle crust are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
