Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Fresh chives - 50 grams, chopped
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons for frying

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water while stirring to form a soft dough.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the chopped chives, sesame oil, black pepper, and a pinch of salt together.
  4. Divide the rested dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle about 10 cm in diameter.
  5. Place a spoonful of the chive filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and press the edges to seal.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry each pocket for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
