- Boiling water - 120 ml
- Chives, finely chopped - 50 grams
- Egg, beaten - 1 large
- Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add boiling water to the dry ingredients while stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix chopped chives, beaten egg, ground black pepper, and sesame oil to create the filling.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
- Flatten each ball into a circle about 5 cm in diameter.
- Place a spoonful of the chive filling in the center of each circle, then fold the dough over and pinch the edges to seal.
- Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil and steam the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper for 15 minutes.
- Serve warm, optionally with a dipping sauce of soy sauce and vinegar.
