Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Psyllium husk powder - 10 grams
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Boiling water - 120 ml
  • Chives, finely chopped - 50 grams
  • Egg, beaten - 1 large
  • Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Gradually add boiling water to the dry ingredients while stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth, then cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, mix chopped chives, beaten egg, ground black pepper, and sesame oil to create the filling.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  6. Flatten each ball into a circle about 5 cm in diameter.
  7. Place a spoonful of the chive filling in the center of each circle, then fold the dough over and pinch the edges to seal.
  8. Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil and steam the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper for 15 minutes.
  9. Serve warm, optionally with a dipping sauce of soy sauce and vinegar.
