Ingredients
- All-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Warm water - 100 ml
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Bell pepper (red or green) - 1 medium, diced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Green onion - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add warm water and knead the mixture until it forms a smooth dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add diced bell pepper, julienned carrot, and chopped green onion to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper, mixing well. Remove from heat and let the vegetable mixture cool slightly.
- Roll the rested dough into a thin circle (about 25 cm in diameter). Place it on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Spread the vegetable mixture evenly over the flatbread. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle chopped cilantro on top.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Bake the flatbread for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
