Ingredients
- all-purpose flour - 200 grams
- water - 100 milliliters
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- scallions (green onions) - 4 stalks, finely chopped
- vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
- sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- After resting, divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Roll out one part into a thin circle (about 25 cm in diameter).
- Brush the rolled-out dough with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and sprinkle with black pepper and half of the chopped scallions.
- Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly into a log, then coil it into a spiral shape. Flatten gently with your hands.
- Roll out the coiled dough again into a flat pancake (about 1 cm thick). Repeat the process with the second piece of dough.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Cook one pancake for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Repeat with the second pancake.
- Cut into wedges and serve warm with a dipping sauce of soy sauce and sesame oil.
