- Warm water - 150 milliliters
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh scallions - 4, finely chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add warm water while stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- In the meantime, mix the chopped scallions with sesame oil and set aside.
- After resting, divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Roll each portion into a thin circle, about 20 cm in diameter.
- Brush one side of the rolled dough with vegetable oil and sprinkle with the scallion mixture and black sesame seeds.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, then coil it into a spiral shape. Flatten it gently with your hands.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little vegetable oil. Cook each scallion bread for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm.
