Steps
- Wash the Chinese broccoli thoroughly and trim the ends of the stems.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the Chinese broccoli for about 2 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Remove the Chinese broccoli from the boiling water and immediately plunge it into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain and set aside.
