- Wonton wrappers - 12 pieces
- Ground chicken - 200 grams
- Shrimp, peeled and chopped - 100 grams
- Green onion, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 1 clove
- Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Chili oil - 3 tablespoons
- Cilantro, chopped (for garnish) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped shrimp, green onion, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the wontons and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface and are cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
- In a separate bowl, combine chili oil with a pinch of salt. Drizzle the chili oil over the cooked wontons.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
