Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers - 12 pieces
  • Ground chicken - 200 grams
  • Shrimp, peeled and chopped - 100 grams
  • Green onion, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Ginger, minced - 1 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chili oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Cilantro, chopped (for garnish) - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped shrimp, green onion, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper over to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the wontons and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface and are cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine chili oil with a pinch of salt. Drizzle the chili oil over the cooked wontons.
  5. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
