Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 300 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Red bell pepper - 50 grams, diced
  • Green onion - 1 stalk, chopped
  • Fresh basil - a handful, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 10 minutes, then let cool slightly.
  3. Once cooled, transfer the cauliflower to a clean kitchen towel and wring out as much moisture as possible.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, oregano, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  5. Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a pizza crust about 1 cm thick.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  7. Remove the crust from the oven and brush with olive oil. Spread the chili oil evenly over the crust.
  8. Top the pizza with diced red bell pepper and chopped green onion.
  9. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the toppings are slightly cooked.
  10. Remove from the oven and finish with fresh basil before slicing and serving.
